After the Boston Tea Party and the Boston Harbour Blockade, representatives of 12 out of the 13 colonies in America met at Philadelphia in 1774. Georgia was the thirteenth colony which chose not to criticise Britain’s actions. The state was fighting Native Americans and thus heavily relied on British military supplies.
