Alkanes on reaction with AlCl3 produces isomers of the reacting alkane.
As CH4,C2H6,C3H8 do not have any isomers but C4H10 (nButnae) has a isomer (iso-propane).
So, when C4H10 (nButane) reacts with AlCl3, it will produce iso-propane.
