Solution
The correct option is C
Birds, reptiles and mammals
Amniotes are organisms whose embryos are surrounded by a proptective membrane called amnion within the egg. The amnion is filled with amniotic fluid that provides the growing embryo with a stable fluid-filled environment. This enables amniotes to lay eggs on land, without the risk of the eggs getting dried up. Reptiles, birds and mammals are amniotes. The lower chordates including fishes and amphibians are anamniotes, as their eggs lack an amnion and hence, these organisms breed and lay eggs in water.
