Solution

Definition:

  1. An expression of the form a0xn+a1xn-1+a2xn-2+...+an where a0,a1,a2,...,an are real numbers and n is a whole number, is called a polynomial.
  2. The highest power of the variable in a polynomial is called its degree.

Given expression 6=6x0 is in the form of a0xn+a1xn-1+a2xn-2+...+an where a0,a1,a2,...,an are real numbers and n is a whole number.

Here, n=0.

Thus, it is a polynomial.

The highest exponent is 0.

Thus, the degree of the polynomial is 0.
