Solution

The correct option is A

renin

The juxtaglomerular apparatus consists of three cell types. These are the macula densa, a part of the distal convoluted tubule of the same nephron. juxtaglomerular cells, which secrete renin, specialised smooth muscle cells of the afferent arteriole, which supplies blood to the glomerulus. Renin( a stomach enzyme) is an enzyme which has the function of digesting only milk proteins to peptides. Pepsinogen is activated by HCl into Pepsin( a stomach enzyme). Pepsin digests other proteins present in the food to smaller peptides fragments. Enterokinase(intestinal juice) activates trypsinogen to trypsin.
