Ahmad Sirhindi (1564-1624), an Indian Sufi scholar of the Naqshbandi order, was a contemporary of Akbar and Jahangir. He was pro- jizya, encouraged cow slaughter and against Shias. He condemned the Ulema as the cause of departure from Sunni orthodoxy. He believed he was the Mujadid (Renewer of Islam) sent by God to restore Sunni orthodoxy. Jahangir imprisoned him for claiming a mystical ascent to Heaven. So all the statements are true.
