The correct option is A Sterilisation
Sterilisation is a surgical contraceptive method which acts as a terminal method to prevent any more pregnancies.
In males it is called vasectomy and in females it is called tubectomy. These methods block gamete transport and thereby prevent conception.
The reversibility is very poor for these methods and hence they can be considered as permanent methods of contraception.
Progestogen or its combination with estrogen can be used by females as injections or implants under the skin which inhibit ovulation and implantation. But its effects are reversed once the implant is removed.
Lactational amenorrhea is the absence of menstruation. During the period of intense lactation following parturition, ovulation does not occur upto a maximum period of six months. No medicines or devices are used in this method. It is a natural method of birth control. Moreover, there are no side effects but chances of failure are high.
MTP is medical termination of pregnancy or we can say induced abortion, this is not a method of contraception.
