Solution

The correct option is D Prism
When a white light is passed through a prims it gets separates into its seven constituent colours i.e., violet, indigo, blue, green, yellow, orange and red.

When white light passes through a prism it is separated out into different colors due to the different angles of refraction of different wavelengths. Red bends the least and violet bends the most.

Thus, white light splits into different colors through a prism and this phenomenon is known as dispersion of light.
