Atomic Size. Atomic size of the atoms forming covalent bond should be smaller. Smaller the atomic radii of atoms(More easily they will share the electrons instead of losing the electrons), more stronger the covalent bond will be. For example, HH bond is more stronger than ClCl bond which in tum is more stronger than Br-Br bond.
Hence option A, is correct.
