Sun rays received on the earth's surface increases the temperature of the air near it. This is the direct effect of sun rays on the weather in a region.
However, it must be noted that sun rays have much more effects on the weather. Some of these phenomena are listed below:
1. Humidity is dependent on the temperature because higher temperature leads to more evaporation and increase in humidity (when water sources is available in the region).
2. Temperature difference between regions leads to presssure difference and hence, winds.
3. Amount of rainfall in a region is also dependent on temperature and humidity.
