Solution

The correct options are
A 2.8 g of Nitrogen
D 0.1 moles of Oxygen
No. of atoms in 2.4 g of C = 6.02×1023×2.412=1.2×1023
A) 0.1 moles of Oxygen:
No. of atoms = 2×6.02×1023×0.1 = 1.2×1023
B) 2.8 g of Nitrogen:
No. of atoms = 2×6.02×1023×2.828 =1.2×1023
C) 2 g of Hydrogen:
No. of atoms = 6.02×1023
D) 35.5 g of Chlorine:
No. of atoms = 6.02×1023×35.571=3.01×1023
Therefore 0.1 moles of Oxygen and 2.8 g of Nitrogen has same no. of atoms as in 2.4 g of carbon.
