Which of the following diseases is/are caused by mosquitoes?
Mosquitoes spread and cause many dangerous diseases like malaria, yellow fever, dengue, encephalitis, filaria. Of these, malaria is caused by female Anopheles, yellow fever and dengue by Ades and encephalitis by Culex and Ades and filaria by Culex. The male mosquitoes are not harmful but the females have sucking proboscis through which they suck the blood of mammals.
