As per our definition of electric field lines (EFL), E.F.L originates from positive charges or infinity and terminates at negative charges or infinity. Also the relative number of EFL originating or terminating is proportional to the magnitude of the charge.

In option (a): EFL are terminating on positive charge, not possible

In option (b): EFL are originating from negative charge and terminating in positive charge, not possible

In option (d): The relative number of EFL is not proportional to charge magnitude and also they are not symmetric with respect to the perpendicular bisector of the axis of given two-charge system for two equal and opposite charges, so again not possible.

Option (c) is correct
