Solution

The correct option is C

Electrical energy to sound energy

In an electric bell when we switch on the circuit, current is passed through the coils of the electromagnet which magnetizes it. The magnetised electromagnet attracts the armature placed adjacent to it. Due to the movement of the armature, the hammer connected to it strikes the gong and makes the sound.

Hence the energy conversion taking place in an electric bell is electrical energy to sound energy.
