The correct option is D Guru Ji supported Babur’s military campaigns.
Guru Nanak Ji started his third Udasi in the year 1517 CE, when he travelled to Middle-East and Central Asia. In Mecca, he once slept with his feet facing the Kaaba. When reprimanded by Qazi Rukun-ud-Din, Guruji asked him to place his feet in the direction where Allah was not present. The Qazi realised his mistake and conceded that God is omnipresent.
Guruji also witnessed Babur’s military campaigns when in Sayyidpur in 1520. He saw Babur’s soldiers torturing and imprisoning people. Guru Nanak Ji was among the prisoners who was later released by Babur. He was disheartened with the military campaigns and mentioned them in his Babarbani.
