Solution

The correct option is D Both b and c
Mitosis and meiosis are types of cell division.

Crossing over occurs only in meiosis and it is responsible for variations.

The genetic material inside the nucleus, chromatin (DNA+Proteins) is thread like and loosely coiled when the cell does not divide. But when cell undergoes division, chromatin condenses to form compact structures known as chromosomes. This is observed in prophase phase of both mitosis and meiosis.

Centrioles are found close to nucleus and they play a major role during cell division. During cell divison, centrioles move to opposite poles and form spindle fibres that attach to chromosomes and control thier movement.
