There are two types of chromatin of eukaryotic nucleus, namely euchromatin and heterochromatin. Heterochromatin of eukaryotic nucleus stains densely with basic dyes than euchromatin. Heterochromatin has tightly packed DNA. Hence, it is highly condensed in interphase. Whereas euchromatin has loosely packed DNA. Hence, it is highly expanded in interphase.
