Which of the following gases is mostly responsible for global warming?
Carbon dioxide
Global warming is the term used to describe a gradual increase in the average temperature of the earth's atmosphere due to effect of greenhouse gases, such as carbon dioxide emissions from burning fossil fuels or from deforestation, which traps heat that would otherwise escape from the earth. Some of the green house gases are CO2, methane, and nitrous oxide. So, here carbon dioxide gas is responsible for global warming.
