For oxidation reaction of halies:
2XX2+2e
there is loss of electrons i.e. oxidation. Since electron gain enthalpy and electronegativity of fluorine is highest among all elements. Thus it has least tendency to loss electron. While iodine has lowest electron gain enthalpy and electronegativity. Thus will easily loose electron as compared to other halides.
