Solution

The correct option is C

Aldosterone

Organised endocrine glands primarily produce hormones, while some non organised endocrine organs also produce hormones, in addition to the their primary function. For example, heart produces a hormone called as ANP or ANF (artrial natriuretic factor/peptide) which regulates the blood pressure. Juxtaglomerular cells in kidneys produce erythropoietin which stimulates the formation of RBCs. Secretin is a hormone released into the bloodstream from the duodenum (especially in response to acidity). Aldosterone is produced by a endocrine gland called the adrenal gland.
