Solution

The correct option is A Aldosterone

Insulin is released by the beta-cells of the pancreas. It is released during high blood sugar levels to reduce it.

Glucagon is released by alpha cells of the pancreas. It is released when blood sugar levels are low.

Corticoids are released by adrenal cortex. One of the corticoids, glucocorticoids is hyperglycemic in nature.

Mineralocorticoids is also one of the corticoids. Also, aldostreone is the main mineralocorticoid and doesn't play any role in glucose metabolism. It causes retention of Na+ and loss of K+ ion.
