Solution

The correct option is A Thyroxine
In certain organisms which undergo indirect development, there is an intermediate larval stage. In frogs, the larval stage is called tadpole. This tadpole undergoes drastic morphological changes to give rise to an adult frog. The process by which a tadpole develops into a mature adult frog is called metamorphosis. This process is also seen in certain insects like butterflies. Thyroxine hormone plays a key role in the metamorphosis of frogs. Thus the level of thyroxine hormone affects the rate at which metamorphosis occur.
Adrenaline is secreted from the adrenal gland and plays a major role in the working of heart.
Growth hormone produced from pituitary gland regulates proper and normal growth of the body.
