Only unsaturated hydrocarbons undergo addition reaction. Alkenes and alkynes are unsaturated hydrocarbons with general formula $C_{n} H_{2 n}$ and $C_{n} H_{2 n - 2}$ respectively.

$C_{3} H_{6}$ is alkene $C_{2} H_{2}$ is alkyne. Therefore they undergo addition reaction.

$C_{2} H_{6}, C_{3} H_{8}, C_{3} H_{6}$ and $C H_{4}$ are alkanes. They do not undergo addition reaction.
