The correct option is A Sewage
Biodegradable pollutants can be broken down naturally. The municipal wastewater that is usually rich in organic matter is called sewage. Microorganisms degrade the organic matter present in the sewage and hence it is easily biodegradable.
Unlike biodegradable pollutants, non-biodegradable pollutants cannot be naturally broken down or decomposed. These include plastic, heavy metals, glass and DDT (insecticide). Since they can't be broken down naturally by the decomposers, they are simply disposed of. Thus, they pose a great problem to the environment since they stay in soil for a very long time and may interfere with the natural ecosystem.
