Solution

The correct option is A

Cartilage

Cartilage is a non-porous tissue with a thick intercellular substance called the matrix. It is semi-transparent and elastic. It is found in the softer areas such as earlobes, trachea, intervertebral disc, etc.

Bone: It is a tissue harder than the cartilage. In this tissue, the ground substance or matrix is filled with cells called osteocytes and various inorganic compounds.

Blood: It consists of a straw coloured fluid matrix called plasma in which RBC's, WBC's and platelets are present.

Lymph: It surrounds the body cell and protects the body against infection.
