Kurukshetra is a place of great historical and religious importance. This city is situated in Haryana and lies in Punjab-Haryana plain. It is the place where the battle of Mahabharat was fought. Lord Krishna preached his philosophy of ‘Karma’ which is enshrined in the Holy Bhagwad-Gita to Arjuna at Kurukshetra. Kurukshetra is intimately related to the Aryan civilization and its growth all along the sacred river Saraswati.
