Taichung Native-1 is a semi-dwarf variety found in Taiwan. Taichung native-1 was a dwarf variant and is moderately resistant to blast.

Kalyan Sona, Sonalika and Sharbati Sonora are the high yielding varieties of wheat. These wheat varieties are resistant to wheat rust, are short in stature and have a short maturity span.
