Which of the following is a neutralisation reaction?
NaOH + HCl→NaCl + H2O
We know when an acid reacts with a base it forms salt and water. This is called a neutralisation reaction.
Example: NaOH + HCl→NaCl + H2O
In the other reactions like KOH + HNO→KNO + H2O, there is no compound as such HNO.
In NaOH+H2O→NaO+O2, this is a reaction between a base and water, hence, not a neutralisation reaction.
In KOH+NaCl→KCl+NaOH, this is a reaction between a base and salt, hence, not a neutralisation reaction.
