The Government of India provides financial and technical assistance to the State/UT Governments for activities aimed at wildlife conservation through the Centrally Sponsored Scheme viz. ‘Integrated Development of Wildlife Habitats’. The scheme has following three components:
1. Support to Protected Areas (National Parks, Wildlife Sanctuaries, Conservation Reserves and Community Reserves). It includes Conservation Reserves and Community Reserves too.
2. Protection of Wildlife Outside Protected Areas
3. Recovery programmes for saving critically endangered species and habitats.

भारत सरकार राज्य / केन्द्र शासित प्रदेश सरकारों को केंद्र प्रायोजित योजना के माध्यम से वन्यजीव संरक्षण के उद्देश्य से गतिविधियों के लिए वित्तीय और तकनीकी सहायता प्रदान करती है। 'वन्यजीव आवासों का एकीकृत विकास' योजना के तीन घटक हैं:
