Which of the following is/are part(s) through which plants excrete wastes?
Phloem
Stomata
Hydathodes
Heartwood
Transpiration is the process in which water is lost in the form of water vapour from the aerial parts of the plants. Plants give out photosynthetic byproduct oxygen and respiratory byproducts carbon dioxide and water through stomata. Hydathodes are small pores present at the tip of leaves which eliminate excess water. Some waste products in plants are accumulated in the older xylem cells. These have a role in the formation of heartwood.
