Which of the following is/are true about vacuoles?
Plant cells have large central vacuole.
Vacuoles are non living inclusions present in the cytoplasm.
Vacuoles are non living storage sacs bound by a single membrane. Vacuoles are present in both plant and animal cells. They are small sized, many and temporary in animal cells while plant cells have a single, large, central and permanent vacuole which may occupy 50-90% of the cell volume. In plant cells, vacuoles are full of cell sap and provide turgidity and rigidity to the cell. The contents inside the plant vacuole may include amino acids, sugars, various organic acids and some proteins.
