Before this new arrangement, less land revenue was collected from the Brahmins and Rajputs as compared to other casts. But according to the provision of this new arrangement, this exclusive right of these casts came to an end resulted into dissatisfaction among these sections. Although the other casts were also dissatisfied with this, yet the leading role was played by Rajputs. They from Bansur and Ghazi Ka Thana of Alwar gathered to oppose the taxes.
