The correct option is B CO2<CS2<CCl4<H2O
As electronegativity difference increases, boiling point increases. Also, as the size of the molecule increases, the bp increases. So, the order is CO2<CS2<CCl4<H2O. Due to symmetrical linear structure, CO2has minimum boiling point. Among oxygen and sulphur, atomic size of sulphur is more than oxygen. Hence CO2<CS2. Chlorine is smaller in size than sulphur but there are 4 chlorine atoms in CCl4. Hence, CO2<CS2<CCl4<H2O.
