Coitus interruptus is also called the withdrawal method. It is a natural birth control method in which, during the intercourse, the male partner withdraws his penis from the vagina (female reproductive tract) just before ejaculation so as to avoid releasing the sperms into the female reproductive system.

Lactational amenorrhea is the absence of menstruation, ovulation and menstrual cycle during the period of intense lactation right after parturition.
