The nitrogenous base Uracil is found only in RNA, whereas in DNA the uracil is replaced by the base thymine. Uracil is generally not found in DNA, although there are exceptions. For eg. DNA of several phages, Hypermutations during the synthesis of vertebrate antibodies etc.
