Aerobic respiration is a biological process in which glucose is converted into energy in the presence of oxygen. The different cycles involved in aerobic respiration such as glycolysis, Krebs cycle and electron transport chain. Glycolysis takes place within the cytoplasm of the cell where glucose breaks down into pyruvate & releases 2 ATP molecules. Further reaction occurs within mitochondria where carbon dioxide, water and 36 ATP molecules are released as end products.
