Which of the following is NOT a pollutant?
Oil in a tanker
A pollutant is something which when introduced into the environment, adversely affects it. Garbage dumped on streets, emission from cars, and chemical fertilisers sprayed on plants are all pollutants that affect the environment. Oil in a tanker is not a pollutant by itself, but when it spills in ocean water and affects marine life, it becomes a pollutant.
