Magnetic field lines form closed loop.

They start at north pole (remember those arrows that show their direction), then turn around the bar magnet and enter the south pole. They move inside the magnet from south to north. Hence correct answer is b.-The arrows on these lines tell the direction of magnetic fields. No two field lines are found to cross each other. If they did, it would mean that at that point of interaction, the compass needle would point towards two directions, which is not possible. -Also the closer they are stronger is the field.
