Camels are animals that need little water because they get moisture from their food. They retains most of the water that that they have in their body. Most animals lose water as sweat in hot climates as the evaporation of water from their skin keeps them cool, but camels do not sweat much. Instead, their body temperature rises by as much as $6^{\circ }C$ during the day and then cools down at night.

Camels also have padded soles to help them walk on loose sifting sand. Their dung is very dry as the camel absorbs as much water from its food as possible. Similarly, it saves water by urinating very little.
