Which of the following is not an example of the vestigial organ in humans?
Vestigial organs are the remnants of features that served important functions in the organism's ancestors. Wisdom teeth, Male nipples, coccyx (the tailbone) are all vestigial organs in humans. Nictitating membrane, body hair, appendix, pinna are few more examples of vestigial organs. These structures are hardly of any use to humans. However, the eyelid is not an example of a vestigial organ as it covers and protects the eye.
