Which of the following is not correct for rod cells?
Mostly located in the centre of retina
Rod cells are more numerous than the cone cell and are at the periphery of the retina. They are very sensitive to the low level of illumination and are stimulated by the wavelength of visible light, except the red light. They rapidly regenerate light-sensitive pigments, therefore can perceive flicker well. Whereas cones are less numerous and are located at the centre of the retina.
