Solution

The correct option is A During wind formation, air moves from a low pressure region to a high pressure region.
There can be many factors leading to wind formation and setting its direction. But one thing remains the same, it always flow from a high pressure region to a low pressure region.

One of the reasons which leads to pressure difference is differential heating on earth. At hotter places, air is lighter and tends to move up. Air from the surrounding higher pressure regions rushes to fill it in.

Wind's direction is also influenced by the rotation of the earth. Due to the rotation of the earth, the winds tilt from the equator to the poles.

Wind speed and direction are the two important aspects of wind and defines it pretty well.
