KCN adds to the carbonyl group of benzaldehyde.

Cyanide ion acts as nucleophile. This is followed by acid hydrolysis to form cyanohydrin.

Hence, the reaction PhCHOKCN/H−−−−−PhCH(OH)(CN) is a nucleophilic addition reaction.

In option A the Grignard reagent which acts as nucleophile and adds across C=O bond hence it is also nucleophillic addition.
