Which of the following is safe to do during lightning?
Crouching in a large building or inside home
When a thunderstorm threatens, we should get inside a home or large building. We should not stand underneath tall trees. An isolated tree will attract lightning. We should also stay away from wire fences, clothe lines, metal pipes, rails and other metallic paths which could carry lightning to us. Inside a home, we should avoid using the telephone. We should also avoid standing in small isolated sheds or other small structures in open areas.
