Solution

The correct option is B III IV I V II
Step 1: Fermentation of carbohydrates (sugar) by yeast which results in the production of ethanol.
Step 2: Microbial degradation of ethanol with the help of bacteria like Acetobacter and Gluconobacter. As a result, a mixture of acetic acid and other by-products are obtained.
Step 3: Separation of acetic acid from this mixture by the process of rarefaction.
Step 4: Bleaching of acetic acid with the help of potassium ferrocyanide.
Step 5: After bleaching, it is taken for pasteurization. Then SO2 is mixed in a small quantity to produce vinegar.
