Dehydrobromination of (1S,2R,3S)-2-bromo-1-ethyl-3-methylcyclohexane with ethanolic KOH gives (S)-1-ethyl-3-methylcyclohex-1-ene. In this reaction, a molecule of HBr is lost to form carbon carbon double bond.

As the H and Br should be anti to each other in elimination reaction so the product formed is as shown.
