Solution

The correct option is D p(x)=6x4+0x37x2+2x+8
If we write the given polynomial in descending powers of its variable, we get it's standard form.

So, the standard form of p(x)=2x7x2+8+6x4 is
p(x)=6x47x2+2x+8.

In the standard form, there is no term having power 3 of the variable. We can write it as 0x3.

So, we can add this to standard form . we get :

p(x)=6x4+0x37x2+2x+8.

This is called as index form
