Solution

The correct option is A Staphylococcus
Streptococcus produces haemolysins, the toxins that cause bursting of red blood cells. Option A is incorrect. The localized infection of Staphylococcus aureus is characterized by formation of wall off cavity called as abscess which is filled with pasty mass containing Staphylococcus, white blood cells and dead tissues killed by bacterial toxin. This mass is called as a pus. Option B is correct. Sarcina are aerobic, motile, endospore forming bacteria that impart specific odour to human body and causes skin infections; option C is incorrect. Clostridium is endospore forming heat and disinfectant resistant bacterium that causes botulism (C. botulinum), gas gangrene (C. perfringens) and tetanus (C. tetani). Option D is incorrect.
