Aldehydes are ​more reactive than ketones due to less steric hindrance. More number of electron donating groups​, higher stabilisation of partial ​positive charge on the carbonyl carbon. As in ketone two EDGs are present, the carbonyl carbon is more stabilised than aldehyde. Hence, the reactivity of ketone is less than that of aldehyde. Therefore, the correct answer is option (a).
