The correct option is B Mean will increase
From the given plot,

Mean of line plot 1 = 45+50+55+65+705

= 2855

= 57


Mean of data in line plot 2 = 45+50+55+65+70+906

= 3756

= 62.5

Mean of line plot 1 = 57 and line plot 2 = 62.5

So, the mean of the data increases, when plot 1 is compared to plot 2.




Median of the data in line plot 1= 55

Median of data in line plot 2:

= 55+652

= 1202 = 60

Median of data in line plot 1 and 2 are 55 and 60 respectively.

Since median changes, the option, "Median will not change" is false.

Also, the option "Median of both plots are same" is also false.

Since the mean will increase, when plot 1 is compared to plot 2, the option, 'Mean will decrease' is also false.
